What is Diamond Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical, exfoliating treatment that improves wrinkles, skin colour, and skin texture by removing the topmost layer of skin leaving it more supple and vibrant. This reduces the effects of aging on our skin. It is a wonderful alternative to chemical peels because it is more gentle and effective than other exfoliating systems, even at higher settings. A wand consisting of natural diamond chips at its tip is gently brushed over the treated area to remove damaged and old skin cells, and thus, reveal fresh young skin. It also stimulates the collagen tissue beneath the surface of the skin resulting in a healthier and firmer appearance.

Diamond Microdermabrasion Treatment

Diamond Microdermabrasion removes only the topmost layer of skin by gently exfoliating the skin with natural diamond chips, while removing the exfoliated skin cells away in a sterile and controlled manner. The precise diamond wand chip size and vacuum settings assure the appropriate amount of exfoliation that will produce uniform and desirable results. Although the treatment may have you feel a minor burning sensation, it is extremely well tolerated by clients. Only where it is treated with the exfoliating wand, the damaged cells are removed to reveal fresh skin.

Diamond Microdermabrasion leaves your skin feeling soft and complimented with a natural glowing complexion. Due to the increase in your circulation, a mild temporary blush surrounding the treated area may be the only evidence of your treatment. This will only last for about 10-30 minutes. The results are gradual, but highly effective for clearer, healthier looking skin. Multiple sessions are recommended to achieve optimal results, but this will dependent on your skin's condition.
